Blue glowsticks (not edible!)

Warning! This is not a recipe for food. Do not eat this!

2 liters distilled water, divided
50 ml hydrogen peroxide (3% concentration)
0.2 gram luminol
4 grams sodium carbonate
0.4 gram copper sulfate pentahydrate
0.5 gram ammonium carbonate

In a medium mixing bowl, add the hydrogen peroxide to 1 liter of the water. In another bowl, dissolve the chemicals in the other liter of water.

To make a homemade glowstick, pour equal measures of the two solutions into a jar or other clear container with a good lid and seal.
