Cheddar cheese puffs with a surprise

2 C grated sharp cheddar
8 T butter at room temperature
1 C sifted flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 t paprika
48 small stuffed green olives, well drained
Preheat oven to 400.
Blend grated cheese and butter. Mix in butter, flour, salt, paprika (can use food processor).
Mold 1 t of mixture around each olive. Chill until firm, about 1/2 hour. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets, and bake for 15 minutes or until browned. (you can also freeze them before baking, for up to 10 days and bake them, still frozen, until browned)
Wonder if this would be good around nuts? or black olives?
