Cranberry Wobbler

This is a favorite holiday dish from Odessa.

1-1/2 C ground cranberries
1/2 C sugar
2 3-oz packages Jello orange or lemon
1/4 t salt
2 C boiling water
1-1/2 C cold water
1 T lemon juice
1/4 t cinnamon
1/8 t cloves
1 orange, sectioned and diced
1/2 C chopped nuts (walnuts are traditional)

Combine berries and sugar and set aside. Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves. Chill until thickened. Fold in berries, nuts, and orange. Spoon into 6-cup mold. Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
