GARLIC CHEESE GRITS CASSEROLE

1 C grits, cooked
1-1/2 T worcestershire sauce
3/4 lb or more grated cheese
1 stick butter
1 clove of garlic, grated
dash of tabasco
2 egg whites
Cook grits to a thick, but not stiff, consistency. While hot, add butter, worcestershire, cheese, garlic, and tabasco. Let cool. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into grits. Pour into 2 quart casserole. Just before serving, bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until slightly brown on top. This can be put in the refrigerator in the morning and served at night (or vice versa).
