Loraine’s Dip

Barry’s Grandma, Mrs. Harry Gaspeny, also known as Loraine, invented this recipe long ago, and gave it to some friends. Many years later, a woman served it to her at a party, saying, Isn’t it funny, this dip has the same name as you.” The recipe had spread so widely, the new friend had no idea Loraine was the dip’s creator!

Soften 8 oz cream cheese, blend in 2 T milk
Add 5 oz dried beef, sliced and chopped
1/4 C chopped green pepper
2 T onion flakes
1/2 t garlic salt
1/2 C sour cream

Spoon into 8″ pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers.
