Oat Bran Porridge

1 C milk
1 C cold water
1/2 C oat bran
Dash of salt

In a saucepan, combine water, milk, oat bran and salt. On a medium-high burner, cook, stirring, until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring, for about 10 minutes.

Serve as you would oatmeal or Cream of Wheat, with nuts, brown sugar, dried or fresh fruit, cinnamon, or vanilla.
