Portuguese Broa (corn bread)

Back when I used to make this in my bread machine, I’d never tried the real thing. Now that I’ve been to Portugal, I realized that it’s a pale alternative, but it’s a lot cheaper than a ticket to Lisbon.

Place ingredients in a bread machine, in the order indicated by your manual, and press start.

1-1/3 C water
2 T plus 2 t olive oil
1 t salt
1 t sugar
1-1/3 C white cornmeal
2-2/3 C bread flour
2-1/2 t yeast
