Will’s Amazing Orange Sauce

I have no idea what the quantities were for this, except that he used 3 oranges and about 1/3 of a large jalapeno. The rest of the ingredients were added “to taste.”

This was fabulous on roast chicken and brown rice, but then it snuck onto the asparagus as well, and I decided it would be good on top of absolutely anything (except ice cream). As a matter of fact, the next time I make fresh spring rolls, I’ll serve this sauce instead of my usual peanut sauce.

Fresh oranges, juiced
Fresh ginger, grated
Fresh garlic, minced
Fresh jalapeno, seeded and diced
Green onions, minced
Kumquats, thinly sliced
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
